Learn about ITIL® 4 and gain an understanding of the ITIL® 4 service management framework and concepts. This course introduces you to managing modern IT-supported services, with a particular focus on structure, fundamental concepts, and terminology. The course lasts 2 days, and you will receive an exam voucher, allowing you to take the associated certification exam online whenever you choose.

There are no formal prerequisites for the course, but a general understanding of IT organizational operations is beneficial.

Content
ITIL 4 provides a practical and flexible foundation for an organization's digital transformation. ITIL 4 contributes an operational and end-to-end digital model for the delivery and operation of products and IT services. ITIL 4 enables the IT department to play a larger and more decisive role in business strategy. Additionally, ITIL 4 offers a comprehensive end-to-end perspective that integrates DevOps, Lean IT, and agile development.
The course covers ITIL's basic elements, based on the lifecycle of a service. Given ITIL's extensive Best Practice framework, the course primarily provides an overview of this vast subject area. You will go through the following topics:

Service Management as a discipline

ITIL background, mindset, key concepts, and terminology

The Four Dimensions of Service Management

ITIL Guiding Principles

ITIL Service Value System and Service Value Chain

Activities in the Service Value Chain

Selected Practices, with seven covered in more detail

Course Material
Course materials are in Danish, and the exam is in English. When you book your course, the official ITIL 4 e-book is included. You will have access to the e-book along with your exam code, which we will send you well in advance of the course. The book cannot be opted out of, even if you have previously purchased it.

Certification
You will receive an exam voucher, which you use to take your certification exam online. You can take it the day after or whenever you feel ready. The exam uses PeopleCert online Proctoring, allowing you to take it whenever and wherever suits you, directly from your own computer. Link to more information

Certification Details

Number of questions: 40

Time: 75 minutes

Format: Multiple-choice

You must answer at least 26 questions correctly (65%) to pass.

Upon passing, you will receive an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

The Technological Institute offers this certification as an Accredited Training Organization (ATO) under the examination institute PeopleCert, which, on behalf of AXELOS, is responsible for approving instructors, auditing administrative processes, and providing accredited materials and exams.

Payment
An invoice will be sent approximately 30 days prior to the course. If you would like this invoice issued to your employer, please inform us either at registration or by sending an email to the address below.

If you attempted payment upon registration and it was unsuccessful, you are still registered and will receive an invoice as described above.

Cancellations
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the event. After this period, the participation fee is non-refundable, and any invoice issued will be due for payment.

Please note that the names and email addresses of all registered participants may be shared with the instructor and course provider for the purpose of organizing the event. We do not share your information with other course participants.
