Updated agreement on working from home at Danske Bank
An updated agreement between Finansforbundet i Danske Bank and the group sets out the framework for employees working from home.
Finansforbundet i Danske Bank and the group have agreed on an updated agreement on working from home for employees.
With the agreement, both parties aim to establish a clear framework for working from home as a natural and integrated part of working life, in line with developments in the labour market and our company collective agreement.
Working from home: What you need to know
▶️ Working from your private residence must always be voluntary. As a general rule, Danske Bank cannot require an employee to work from home.
▶️ As a general rule, all employees have the option to work from home occasionally, subject to agreement with their immediate leader. However, the leader may deny this option based on operational requirements.
▶️ Working from home must be arranged in agreement with your immediate manager to ensure the greatest possible flexibility.
If the agreement is not complied with
Do you find that the agreement is not being complied with?
For example, if you feel pressured to work from home more than you would like, contact your union representative or get in touch with us directly.
It could also be that you are required to work from a work station that do not meet occupational health and safety requirements, or you encounter other conditions that violate agreements or legislation.
In such cases, you should contact your working environment.
Physical attendance 3–4 days a week
Danske Bank’s current guidelines require you to work from the office 3–4 days a week.
However, this is not part of the agreement that has just been updated, but a guideline that the group itself has adopted within the framework of this agreement.
