Morten Albæk, Lykke Friis and masterplans for everyday strategies – Finansforbundet invites you to 4 events
Do we forget to live meaningful lives? How is the EU challenged by Russia’s war against Ukraine? And how do you implement a strategy - designed for a tech-start up in Silicon Valley - in a regular Danish everyday workplace?
As an employee in Nordea, you are exclusively invited to participate in these three physical English language events held in Nordea’s headquarters in Copenhagen and Høje Taastrup. Besides this, we encourage you to join a virtual meeting with Finansforbundet in Nordea’s board telling us what motivate and disturb you in your work life.
All meetings are open to members as well as non-members; non-members can see how to sign up at the events’ links.
In the coming months, Finansforbundet and Finansforbundet in Nordea invites you to four events:
4 Oct at Teams: Dialogue with Finansforbundet in Nordea
Finansforbundet in Nordea would like to get even closer to our members and know more about what is going on locally. By doing so, your union can be as relevant as possible.
The meeting is held at Teams from 8 to 9.
Read more about the dialogue meeting at Nordea's Intranet here (require access to Nordea's network).
26 Oct at Nordea Metro: Morten Albæk: One life – how we forgot to live meaningful lives
Philosopher and bestselling author Morten Albæk introduces us to several suggestions to how to save ourselves from the existential morass many feel they are confused by. You get some reflections on the difference between ‘just’ being happy or creating a meaningful life with our family, friends and colleagues. And you get some answers to the radical consequences that come with the cognition that we only have one life, regardless of the context.
One of Morten Albæk’s views is that the modern division of time in terms of work time, leisure or quality time is a semantic mirage - there is just time, and it passes quickly.
The meeting is held from 8.30-9.30 (check-in with croissants and coffee from 8.00) at Nordea Metro.
17 Nov at Nordea Metro: Lykke Friis: EU – what now?
The EU is seriously challenged by Russia’s war against Ukraine, which has demonstrated Europe’s deep dependence on Russian gas and oil.
In this meeting, Co-Chair of the European Council on Foreign Relations and former Minister of Climate, Energy and Gender Equality Lykke Friis talks about the situation and ideas on how the EU can address the risk of an economic crisis and strengthen the EU.
You are welcome to participate in the debate which is moderated by journalist Ole Krohn from TV 2.
The meeting is held from 8.00-9.00 (check-in with croissants and coffee from 7.30) at Nordea Metro.
24 Nov at Nordea Hermes Hus: How to make things happen – a masterplan for an everyday strategy
In this inspirational talk, you will get an insight into the difficulties in how to implement a strategy, designed for a tech-start up in Silicon Valley - in a regular Danish everyday workplace.
Understand why you should avoid burning platforms. And learn how to implement your strategy in the real world.
Ursula Krogsbøll has a Master in IT leadership and strategy. She believes our best practices lead us into problems, as we imitate the wrong people: ‘The perfect people’. ‘The amazing people’. But … Most of us work in regular organizations with regular people. Hence, we cannot follow a strategy from a start-up in California or a German market leader group. We just don’t share the same DNA.
The meeting is held from 12.00 to 13.00 at Nordea Hermes Hus. A sandwich and drinks are served for the participants.
We look forward to seeing you!
